Zion is of course in Utah
Close to the park, there are some tourist traps.
Magnificent cliffs
unusual rock formations
One of the most interesting is up ahead...

Inside the tunnel
On the far side of the tunnel are some striking striations in the rock.
Diagonal stripes like these are the result of river deposition.
And the Earth moved some, too.
In some places, the rock looks almost like lava floes.
