Hello all
It has been ages since I have written anything. So I thought I'd take a moment to update everyone about what is going on in my world. We are about a month in to spring semester at the university and things are going pretty well. Aside from the ever present loom of budget cuts and the hiring freeze--which has lead to the janitor for our building having to take on two buildings and our trash cans in the art therapy room over flowing for more than a week now--Poor Delores! Otherwise things are business as usual. I am teaching the applied art therapy research class, art therapy ethics and supervising master's projects (like a thesis but doesn't involve research) as well as advising freshmen and transfer students in the student advising center. I am also taking several classes which I am enjoying overall. I continue to be frustrated that my art therapy classes don't qualify for licensure in KS so I am having to take many classes that I have already completed "equivalents" of but nonetheless I am enjoying the refreshers!
I currently have a cold and am not sure how lucid this blog is sounding as I am a bit discombobulated. I hope everyone is having a fantastic february and I wish a happy valentine's day to all!
