Jessie and I specifically looked for a 3-bedroom house so that I could have an office and she could have a studio. The idea was not only to have our own personal space in an otherwise shared household, but to keep me focused on my work during working hours and allow me to leave it behind at the end of the workday.
I figured it was about time for me to actually post something on here! As Ben said it is the first year anniversary of the day we met. It seems simultaneously imposible that it has only been 1 year and that it has already been 1 year. Ben and I just click so well I feel as though I have known him my whole life but at the same time I spent 27 years without him so it seems as though we met just yesterday! But enough of the sap!
Today is the first anniversary of the day Jessie and I met in person. One year ago today, Jessie took a leap of faith and drove to Fairfield to meet a guy she'd previously only exchanged emails and phone calls with, and the phone calls only lasted a few minutes at a time.
I was hoping to wait to post about the basement until the situation was resolved, but since it's been two weeks now and I still have no idea when that will be, I figured I should go ahead and post something.
Here's an album of photos from when we moved into our house!
In August of 2007, just after Jessie and I met for the first time, I accompanied my parents on their anniversary trip to Singapore.
See an album of my photos from the trip!
Here's my annual newsletter from January 2007, describing my move from St. Paul to Fairfield.
